health cooking food

My cancer journey became a very positive and uplifting journey for me. I discovered additional talents and developed new passions! I mastered healthy cooking. I was always eating healthily but during my healing process and chemotherapy treatments, I was concentrating on anti-cancer foods and cooking. I started with the research about ovarian cancer, read lots of books on cancer-fighting foods and compounds, and selected the ones that made sense to me. I focused on avoiding sugar and ate no meat, and no dairy products except 2% cottage cheese for my morning Linomel Meusley breakfast from the “Budwig Protocol.”

I had morning contrast showers (cold/hot), oil skin rubbing, dry body brushing, morning exercises, dog walks, and Groove dancing. In the evenings, I had Epson Salt baths and/or saunas. It was a HEALING experience!

I felt light, strong, and healthy!

I heard so many times: We are born to heal!  The Body created cancer and the body will heal it!

“Cancer is not my destiny” was my everyday mantra!

At some point, I joined cancer coach, Leslie Nance’s Any Stage Cancer group, and completed her program to become a Cancer Boss. She helped build trust in the choices I was making about the food and cooking. I mastered vegetarian cooking and learned a lot about vegan cuisine. It brought me joy to cook and decorate home meals creatively.
