A Gathering of Perfect Foods and Community
I had the honour of being invited to the Annual Perfect Foods Potluck, and what an extraordinary experience it turned out to be, a vibrant blend of education, emotion, and empowerment that is how healing with whole Foods.
The event was hosted by the radiant Rebecca, a second-generation micro-greens grower, who has dedicated her life to spreading awareness about the healing with whole foods. She welcomed a diverse and inspiring group of individuals, each with their own personal connection to wellness and holistic living.

This wasn’t just a potluck, it was a feast of nutrient-dense foods designed to nourish the body and soul. Everyone was invited to bring a healthy dish, and I contributed:

Rebecca set the tone beautifully with her micro-greens-infused drinks and a perfectly curated display of “the perfect plate.” Before we began, she offered a heartfelt blessing that reminded us why food is more than fuel—it’s medicine, connection, and love.

The most powerful part of the evening was hearing two women share their deeply moving journeys of healing from breast cancer. Without chemotherapy or radiation, they embraced a lifestyle centred on perfect whole foods and micro-greens and today, they are thriving and cancer-free.
Their testimonies struck a chord with me, as I, too, have leaned on micro-greens in my own healing journey. It was a beautiful reminder that nature provides us with powerful tools to restore and sustain health.
Groove Dance – Joyful Movement in Action
Halfway through the evening, something magical happened. Rebecca remembered seeing me facilitate Groove dance at the April Wellness Gathering and asked if I would guide the group in some joyful movement.
Though I hadn’t brought my speaker, the universe provided one of the guests happened to have one. Music filled the room, and suddenly, Groove came alive. We danced, laughed, and shared pure joy in motion.
Several attendees immediately asked to join my Groove dance classes, and Rebecca smiled as she declared:
“We must Groove at all our events!”
